The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is reportedly investigating Adebutu Kessington aka Baba Ijebu Over tax fraud.
One of Adebutu’s sons including an official of Premier Lotto have been detained at the Lagos office of the EFCC following a petitioned filed by Western Lotto.
The EFCC blamed Premier Lotto for shortchanging Nigerians as they revealed that they discovered N5billion worth of revenue loss against the government.
The EFCC which is yet to file against Adebutu will also extend same investigation into other betting companies in the country.
Premier Lotto was registered by Adebutu in 2001 and the businessman is known as one of the pioneers of betting and gambling in Nigeria.
