The President and Vice Chancellor of Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo in Ogun State, Prof Tayo Ademola, on Tuesday, appealed to the federal and state governments to relax taxes on private universities in Nigeria .
Ademola lamented that the taxes levelled on private universities were becoming unbearable. The VC stated this during a press briefing held at the university’s campus to commemorate the 20 years existence of the university and 60 years anniversary of the establishment of Babcock college.
